comment Where is the fork() on the fork bomb :(){ :|: & };:?
In x | y, why is there a sub-shell created? For my understanding, when bash sees a pipe, it executes pipe() system call, that returns two fds. Now, command_left is execed and the output is fed to command_right as input. Now, command_right is execed. So, why is BASHPID different each time?

@StephaneChazelas Thanks. It was indeed the case. The correct path in Archlinux is /usr/lib/ld-2.17.so

But, markdown doesn't have a -o option. I double-checked before commenting.

@Bernhard Thanks for your reply. Honestly, I knew earlier also that it's stripping .md and adding .html but I would like to know more about it. Can you redirect me to a wiki/doc that explains this?

Btw, I just checked. you probably wrote forward slash by mistake in ${0%.md}/.html.
