comment Compiling the Linux kernel in Eclipse
@DevynCollierJohnson also the instructions for building the kernel do not differ when using a compiler or a cross compiler, the toolchains behave equally. I.e. if this is gcc same flags will apply (usually this is the case). Notice this has already been long poitend out by vh4x0r.

Also this comment about "case-sensitive" filesystem makes no sense.

comment how to enable root user in linux(Ubuntu)?
@Achu you are wrong, look at the documentatio: By default, the Root account password is locked in Ubuntu. This means that you cannot login as Root directly or use the su command to become the Root user. However, since the Root account physically exists it is still possible to run programs with root-level privileges. This is where sudo comes in - it allows authorized users (normally "Administrative" users; for further information please refer to AddUsersHowto) to run certain programs as Root without having to know the root password help.ubuntu.com/community/RootSudo

Seems a known [problem][1], related to a BIOS incompatibility, apparently updating it did the trick. [1]: ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1706348

comment Arch Linux on Virtualbox Internet Connection Issue on VirtualBox
Due to the new udev version, the devices will be renamed by default to names like enp0s3. This is not done by the kernel and no driver issue, just a renaming at boot time done by udev. Source: us.generation-nt.com/answer/…
