Giving PHP permission to write to files and folders I just did a copy and paste from the documentation. Plus, it's the reason why I posted the question as I don't understand what that quote means... |

Connect 2 laptops together in dualhead mode? Shared folders wouldn't be enough, I would want to be able to move files, folders, and even program windows across multiple windows. For example, if I open up a webbrowser to debugging, and have netbeans showing the code, I would like to step though the code on 1 screen and show the application being debugged on the other screen. |

Connect 2 laptops together in dualhead mode? I don't think this acts as true dual screens, looks like just the pointer is able to move across the screens. |

Connect 2 laptops together in dualhead mode? Basically, I have "inhereted" 4 ok speced laptops, and thought it would be nice to get these to act as 1 big desktop instead of spending hundreds or thousands on a new quadhead pc. Also I've seen a huge productivity increase with 2 monitors at work, and thought it would be nice to have the same increase at home. |

Can't get to desktop If I install my system using xserver-xorg-core xserver-xorg-video-vesa, I get the problem described above, however, if I use just use xserver-xorg-core it installs all the video stuff. So I think that means I am installing the wrong video section? How do I find out which video section I need so I don't have to install all of them? |

Is Ubuntu 12.04 likely to be more stable compared to Debian testing? In that case, what was considered more stable, Ubuntu 10.04 or Debian testing? |

Is Ubuntu 12.04 likely to be more stable compared to Debian testing? @Nunoxic, you're most likely right, but I was asking about Debian testing instead of Debian stable. |

Is Ubuntu 12.04 likely to be more stable compared to Debian testing? @Ignacio Vazquez-Abrams, the reason why I asked the question was to help remove my speculative view that Ubuntu 12.04 will be more stable than Debian testing, it would be nice if my speculation can be reinforced with facts. |
