comment ABRT report says “irq 19: nobody cared”, but why?
Depends... do you want to know why the message appears?

comment ABRT report says “irq 19: nobody cared”, but why?
The reason of the "try booting with the "irqpoll" option" message, is that the bug/crash cannot be determined because the proper verbosity isn't available. centos.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7452

comment Focus stealing under Xfce in Matlab (Java programs?)
Is already in your title, so having it on tags wouldn't bring any benefits to you. Having xfce and java tags is more relevant than something vague about "focus".

comment “apt-get dist-upgrade” shows kept-back package
Ok, now replace the output of apt-cache policy db5.1-util partimage-server db-upgrade-util that you added first, with the output of apt-cache policy db5.1-util libdb5.1 libc6.

comment Install a specific RHEL point release
Point releases are relevant only from the installation point of view, so people installing 5, don't have to download everything to obtain all upgrades, they just bundle them up an call it a point release.

comment “apt-get dist-upgrade” shows kept-back package
I didn't notice this but you added the reverse dependencies, instead of the dependencies, add the output of apt-cache depends db5.1-util instead.
