I'm no one special. I'm not even on college, learning web development on my own. Ruby is my web programming language of choice alongside it's framework Rails and I'm doing a somewhat good progress with JavaScript and other tools like markup parsers (HAML) and stuff...

When programming, my objectives are to keep code simple and DRY while that doesn't interfere with performance.

There isn't a thing I hate most that developing on Windows. Archlinux and Xubuntu are my natural habitat. Not a great friend of IDEs and any kind of WYSIWYG like editors, I like to know what I'm doing, guess I had a bad experience with VB. :/.

I live struggling to achieve more deep and complex knowledge about informatics, and in this process found that sometimes the community, the books and the practice are the best teachers.
