My interest in computers started early, when I was about 12, my mom had a book on ms-dos which I read, and even though I only got my first computer at the age of 17, I used to draw the DOS prompt in a notebook and issued it commands like "dir" and I wrote out the output, lol!
As I said I only got my first computer when I was 17, back then all I was interested in was games, so I played a lot of games...
When I left college, life popped me the big question: "what do you want to do for the rest of your life? Now that you are out of school...". Most of the people in my year were all doing the "all-new" MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) courses, so I thought I would be different and go for MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solution Developer), just because it had my letter...
A year later I got my first certificate, MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), I passed one exam, I thought to myself: "Hey, I'm a programmer now!", that wasn't true as I later found out...
After my course I went back to Bulgaria for 8 months, where I wrote my other exams.
There I met an old friend of mine, he also programmed, he didn't even speak English, but yet he was amazing! The projects I was doing in 3 months, he could do in a week! Wow! That just blew my mind! That's when I though to myself: "If I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna do it for real..."
And so my quest and thirst for knowledge began...
