I dabble in a lot of different computer services and mostly enjoy Linux administration.

ps, I tried to fix your 127.0.1.1 address to 127.0.0.1 but edits require 6 characters minimum. Maybe you can fix it.

So where does hostname -A get its information? I was having a problem with other software installed on the system that I couldn't fix until hostname -A showed the correct name.

comment Nautilus special URIs
@RaduRădeanu I looked around but could not find a file or reference to the x-nautilus-desktop:/// URI. I couldn't find any files with that name which makes me suspect it's not a modular component like the other URIs and may be hard coded in gvfs or fuse. I'm not much of a developer but you may want to check out the gvfs source code.
