I've found a solution! On my /etc/ssh/sshd_config I had the followin code: Match user xpto ChrootDirectory /path/folder/xpto ForceCommand internal-sftp AllowTcpForwarding no X11Forwarding no PubkeyAuthentication yes The authentication was failing because the sshd user don't have permission to acess that folder. Thanks for your help GAR

I've deleted the user account and its home directory. All regular users have been created with the useradd comand. The user uses the bash shell.

On PuTTy it gets logged out inmediately. On WinSCP it gets a "authentication failed" message.
