I am Brazilian software developer with experience in Java, Python and C and interested in a lot of other languages and technologies (such as Linux, Mac OS X etc.). I am also interested in English and German languages and literature. And I am apparently the last person to prefer CherryPy to any other Web framework.

How do you detach the 2nd screen from within another screen? If you use another escape character just double the second escape key. For example, I use Control+t and so I should press Control+t t d. |

Diacritics do not work in GTK+ applications running on Mac OS X Snow Leopard Hi, penguin359! Both working and non-working apps use the "System" input method. In Inkscape, it is presented as "System (Simple)". Also, I've tried all other methods available in the popup menu and none worked. |

Discovering the number of running and blocked processes in Mac OS X I'll use ps + fgrep + wc. Thank you all for your help! Anyway, if one has a more efficient and safe way to do it, I'd like to know! |

Discovering the number of running and blocked processes in Mac OS X So, a process in Uninterruptible Sleep is equivalent to a Linux' blocked process (I mean, a process with is waiting some operation, such as I/O)? |

Discovering the number of running and blocked processes in Mac OS X I cogitated about counting the number of likes in ps aux output, but I was not sure it lists all processes. Is it so? |
