Yup. Internet works after a reboot. Gonna accept now. ;P

Thanks for your answer. :) Indeed I don't want dhcpcd giving out that kind of information. Thanks. :)

comment Removing Ubuntu from a dual-boot install
Hi Kiwy, thanks for your help, finally getting to this. With "update the grub and restore the grub" you mean run grub-install and grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg as described here?

@Kiwy I added all the info you asked for. Everything was run from Ubuntu except the last df -h which was run from Arch.

@jasonwryan thank you very much for your help. I'll note in the future that I use ArchBang. :)

@jasonwryan You are right. I am using ArchBang (IIRC). I had forgotten about that because my original intentions were to use vanilla Arch. Now I know this is not an issue in vanilla. :)

@terdon Definitely. I just have to select it from Grub at boot.

@terdon Remove Ubuntu completely and get it to how it was before I installed Ubuntu.

@Kiwy all right. I will try all of them when I can and report back.

@Kiwy added what I could. To be honest doing df -h from Arch is a bit of a pain right now so it's only from Ubuntu (have a problem where I have to reset modem every time a computer is rebooted, and the whole family is currently up). Hope that's enough for now.

@Kiwy How do I go about showing you my partition table? I hope fdisk -l from Ubuntu suffices. The first three partitions are Arch Linux's.

Thanks for the answer! Sadly I don't use Openbox or Arch Linux anymore (I'm now stuck on a Mac). Whenever I switch to Linux again though I'll keep this in mind, thanks! :)

comment OfflineIMAP tells me SQLite isn't installed, even though it is
OK back, had to downgrade since I couldn't get the SSL certificate working. OK so it seems there's no pip package for sqlite or sqlite3. I've run brew install sqlite and it installs but that still doesn't seem to solve the problem... Guess I will have to go with a text file backend huh?

All right. Updated to latest version and running into problems with the SSL certificate, so it may take a while until I report back.

All right, edited question to contain output of pip list. I don't have the sqlite3 one, I'll install that one and try again...

I've Googled a lot, and I have read that part of the manual, but that's the only mention I see of python-sqlite in that manual, and everywhere else they mention the packages I mentioned. Could you please point me to the guide on how to setup python-sqlite up? Because I can't seem find it. Thanks. :)

If I can't get this working I guess I'll have to go with the file based option? So that it saves my emails in plain text files instead of SQLite files.

No one? Should I look into the Arch Linux forums for this kind of thing?

Thanks for that link. Somehow I seem to have missed the PHP section, after dozens of times of reading this guide. :P
