I was wondering this too as I also use pass. You'll have to automate the password prompt from pass and then use some sed, awk, grep to get the relevant data.

you don't have access to large server logs? You can use time and large server logs (something over the size of your disks cache) to test it.

Works for me just fine using bash 4.3: n=0;((n++));((n++)); echo $n; echo $? which version of bash are you using?
