sz or rz works only with serial port or usb? But when I was using secureCRT(with ssh), it works very well. Is it depends on terminal client implementaion?

@Gilles Sorry for my late response. I just connect the server using ssh2 protocol via tcp, like most people do. I don't connect with serial or USB.

He needs full root privileges? No, he just want to manage server program. ex) install nginx, setting smtp, samba, web application, rutorrent and so on. I don't care about that, if only he can not access my home folder.
