comment Creating a ram disk on Linux
I have tried running my rails code from a tmpfs (RAM) filesystem, and I did not see any difference at all. I was really hoping for a noticeable difference but I was disappointed by how awesome linux is.

comment Vim mapping behaving strangely
Thanks, it all makes sense now. I ended up mapping <C-n> for this.

comment Vim mapping behaving strangely
How come? the vim documentation says that <C-...> is the control-key so <C-m> should map to Ctrl+M shouldn't it? I tried changing the mapping to use <C-x> and it doesn't seem to have that issue anymore. But I am still confused.
