@NoelForte ah, yes, both Outlook.com and GMail rewrite FROM addresses for anti-spam reasons. You could add an additional header I suppose.

You don't need to create an extended partition, if one doesn't exist Fedora will create one (if there are 3 or fewer partitions).

It's up to you, you can still have multiple partitions, you've just got to make sure they are created correctly. If Windows doesn't give you the necessary level of control to avoid the same problem reoccuring, you could create the Linux partitions as Windows partitions and then delete them afterwards.
