Linux usb Boot results in black screen When you boot normally and get the blank screen, can you see (in some strong light or smth) the desktop? (It would mean that display backlight is off). |

Is it possible to use OpenCL on a minimal OS without X? If I rememmber correctly, AMD is working on opencl without X dependency, but at the moment, wokring Xorg session is needed for opencl calculations on graphics card. |

After removing linux Grub error You misunderstood me, The problem he faces is that there is no bootloader (Grub starts, but cannot find its files), but to get the windows bootloader in place of grub's, he does not need to reinstall windows, he just needs to reinstall windows xp bootloader over grub. |

After removing linux Grub error He should not reinstall windows, he probably only needs to do boot recovery to reinstall windows xp's bootloader. |

Debian Linux is not starting because no bootable device was found could it be because your bootable linux partition is on extended partition? You should create boot partition as sda3 (100-200MB) while installing debian and extended as sda4 with sda5 holding your / etc.. |

How to feed linux new install drivers? Well..no, but you could do it from the installation environment. When you put in the installation Cd, there is an option to boot without installing. Then, assuming the display works, you could chroot to the installed ubuntu and fix it. |

How to feed linux new install drivers? Lets start with the most important: "some errors that convinced me to reinstall 3 times" what errors exactly? And PCI-Express is not what would help, is the graphics card Radeon, Nvidia, Intel? |

Booting grub-2.00 with 2 initrds, crashes with RAMDISK: incomplete write could it be that the -scripts.img and kernel.img should be in opposite order? |
