@msw: Yeah but what if I wanted to see what the end user would see when he ran the same command from his terminal and when I scaled that to say 100, what would they see on their screen? Isn't that a valid thing to determine?

I daresay that meddling with /usr/lib32/ by creating symlinks is much safer than a binary edit. My 2 cents. Also whats wrong with softlinks again?
