comment cd into all directories, execute command on files in that directory, and return to previous current directory
Can you show an example of a dangerous or insecure race condition that the manpage warns about? Or does that warrant a new question?

You should also mention the mnemonic/acronym/whatever "REISUB" which is used for "panic shutdowns"/

comment How can a log program continue to log to a deleted file?
What will occur if a user (let's say root here) attempt to unlink /proc/x/fd/y? Would that cause the process to fail to write to the file descriptor, or is that an illegal operation?

Could you indicate how to set up the initrd to perform the NFS mount?

@Braiam I can compile just fine. I don't know how to check if NFS was actually put in, but I enabled it in the config, and didn't see any warnings regarding it. I'm not sure how the flags are being parsed, but /dev/nfs does not exist after the kernel comes up. I've checked in BusyBox.

I forgot to mention, I'm already passing nfsroot with the kernel append option. I'll edit the exact lines into my post shortly.

@TNW It's assigned, implicitly, as I understand. I assigned a subnet that contains that address to that interface (as the address itself, not the subnet mask)
