apple-like momentum scrolling in linux? what are you looking for is probably defined as "kinetic scrolling", i suggest a research on the internet about your distribution specific solutions, because this can involve 3 pieces of software, drivers, desktop environment and possible third part software. |

Wireless mouse freezes frequently for a second on laptop, when on battery there is a feature, in many desktop and distributions, that disable your touchpad when you are typing with the keyboard, try to review your settings about your mouse/touchpad in the settings panel. |

How am I supposed to keep up with kernels as a developer? usually TI provides a complete support, sometimes they even provides a framework for the GUI, did you try to checkout their website? |

Best rolling release distribution for Macbook pro actually yes, you can just update everything, you can also adopt a fixed partitioning scheme to save your home and your on a different section of your HDD. To be clear if you have Ubuntu 12.04 which is an LTS, you can update to the next 12.10 just by changing the settings in your update-manager. |

Bumblebee (Optimus) Service Won't Start w/ 3.4 Kernel on Fedora 16 @sj755 considering the user base of peoples using Fedora and an Nvidia Optimus video card and knowing about Ironhide i'm not surprised about this, you have to try, i do not have an Nvidia Optimus video card as i said and i can't try either, if you know a forum specialized about Fedora probably you can ask them and you can have a bigger chance of finding the people that have the same configuration and share your knowledge about the existence of IronHide. |
