comment How to configure certain programs to always open in full screen?
+1 I can confirm that this works. But it has a catch. For some programs it's making every window in the program as full screen. For example, in sublime text I'm getting the save file dialog as full screen.

However, after entering it into lubuntu-rc.xml it only works for firefox. Entries for sublime text and chrome don't result in full screen. Is it working for you?

No. I was clicking on the firefox taskbar entry. Directly clicking inside the window works correctly.

Running obxprop gives me _OB_APP_CLASS(UTF8_STRING) = "lxpanel" _OB_APP_NAME(UTF8_STRING) = "panel". Not firefox and Navigator as you've specified.

Didn't I already mention that it works with FileZilla?

comment Curl freezes when downloading from ftp
@YoMismo I tried --trace. It displays no information at all. Probably because it Enables a full trace dump of all incoming and outgoing data but no data is being exchanged.

@YoMismo Yes there are multiple methods. But not all are feasible in a corporate environment due to policy limitations. I can't install lftp. The .netrc method will allow password less access but would it also allow non-interactive get, put, ls? I'll rather not mess with the home directory unless absolutely needed.

@YoMismo Non-interactive script-able ftp access.

comment How does Bash auto completion work?
Strange. Bash tells me that nothing is configured. bash: complete: sqlldr: no completion specification

comment How does Bash auto completion work?
Btw, I used grep to text search my ~ and /etc for sqlldr and didn't find anything interesting. I wonder where oracle placed those functions.

comment How does Bash auto completion work?
How are these functions different from normal functions. And how'd I go about defining my own to provide auto complete for a custom script? Could you point in the right direction?

comment How does Bash auto completion work?
@ott What should I be looking for in that location? I unable to see anything related to sqlldr. All I have is: gdbus-bash-completion.sh gvfs-bash-completion.sh pk-completion.bash yum.bash. The output of set is just as uninteresting.

comment How to quote arguments with xargs
@Gilles Correct. In bash I generally quote the string to pass it unmolested. So by quoting what I meant was to send filename as a single argument to rm instead of being split up into $0 and $1 etc.

comment How to quote arguments with xargs
This solves the problem but actually quoting the arguments would be useful in other cases. So I'll hold on for other answers. +1 for a simple solution though.
