I Like to build and repair computers. I have both a Cubieboard, and Raspberry Pi. I also enjoy refinishing wood furniture.

I like using the terminal, writing basic shell scripts, and sometimes even installing from source :)

supposedly the purge should remove settings as well, but when I did it I still found the inkscape folder in .config so it might be, also be careful using that command one wrong space and you will delete your entire home folder

they probably just missed a bit of marketing in cloning lubuntu... say some of the fallback graphics/words for installing, I would proceed with the install since you are certain it is the same disk.

try another pair of headphones, also do you have a separate headphone jack. Is this a laptop, or do you have a front port for the headphones? If you are using a front port try plugging the headphones in the back to rule out the source of the problem.
