I enjoy Java, JavaScript and Android. I love elegant design patterns and minimalistic code.
I am passionate about Linux, and my distro of choice is Arch.

Can I make pacman aware of packages installed manually? And if I can't use pacman? |

Can I make pacman aware of packages installed manually? The reason I can't do this is that I'm attempting to install packages in a mounted Arch image of a different architecture without emulating it. Thus I cannot use pacman. |

How can I chroot into a filesystem with a different architechture? Qemu static packages don't appear to be in the Arch repositories. |

How can I chroot into a filesystem with a different architechture? I know how to use Qemu for emulation. Apparently you can use it with chroot, although clearly I cannot work out how. |

Taking a screenshot (within X) @AlexChamberlain: This is dependant on the WM that is being used. |
