comment How to protect against data leak?
@YoMismo That's exactly what I tried yesterday, what a coincidence :D It looks like a viable solution for protecting our CAD files at least... We'll iron out any kinks as we go I guess :)

Quite easy but still more troublesome than simply copying them onto a USB stick :)

Of course, but - for example - it would be quite cumbersome to send all our CAD files via email

@BruceEdiger I tried to use a "googlable" phrase, but maybe "data leak" would fit too :)

Clarified that I'm looking for a way to improve security, non a *perfect* solution

I realize my question is too broad, I'll edit it in a bit. We are not looking for a complete (utopic?) solution, but since right now there's no protection in place, we'd like to make it at least more difficult to "steal" files away :)

Well we could settle for a "not exhaustive" solution too, I guess :) Right now we are wide open to this kind of problem, and our boss would like at least to mitigate it

comment What is the recommended way to build an apt mirror with multiple versions of packages?
@sr_: I had investigated aptly before posting and it looked like it would "fit the bill", but I was hoping it could be done without switching away from apt-mirror. I'll wait to see if some other solution will crop up, and then I'll try aptly :) Thanks!
