@Psirus: thanks for the feedback. If i can't create an adhoc network due to hardware limitation, can i make it work if I happen to get a wireless router in-place just for LAN connectivity between my Fedora system and the Mac system?

@Kev: I tried using the other Mac and open up AirPort and doesn't see the name of the Ad-hoc network within range.

@Psirus : yes running Fedora 16 x64, i mean how to know if the wireless sharing is running? when i do iwconfig wlan0 the mode is Managed, does that mean my wireless card doesn't support Internet Sharing?
