Changing soundtrack in a movie clip @MaxMackie, it could be even a command line tool, but I would appreciate an example in which I just need to substitute file names :) |

Changing soundtrack in a movie clip @MaxMackie, I am looking for a really easy way. I am a bit worried that if I just start looking at a random software, it will be one of the more complicated ones, with gzillion options, etc. |

Disable screen blackout in KDE while watching iPlayer @sr_, unfortunately I haven't heard about this stuff before. How would I use it? |

Optimal SSD configuration @N.N., definitely all the photos and multimedia files would not fit. I am pretty sure the rest would fit on a 240 GB+ drive, I would have to check if half of that would be enough. |

Rygel slowing down my Debian system Is there any way to configure it to have a smaller database, or disable it, or something - so that I don't have to kill it every time? |

Default printing options in KDE 4 dialog I did set up the default CUPS options (using some dialog boxes, can't remember which ones) - and I can see those when printing from non-KDE applications (e.g. acroread). However, KDE seems to ignore these. |

Managing unofficial repositories on a Debian system This doesn't seem to work. apt-show-versions only shows if the package comes from testing/unstable etc, and not from which repository. |

Editing margins and sharpening of movies Now I get the same message, but for video encoder. Which one is preferable? No video encoder (-ovc) selected. Select one (see -ovc help). |

Editing margins and sharpening of movies I tried just the cropping bit, but I get the following error message: No audio encoder (-oac) selected. Select one (see -oac help) or use -nosound.. How do I know which audio encoder I need? |

Editing margins and sharpening of movies Yeah, I had a quick look at ffmpeg... but I would really appreciate precise options for my problems, because this stuff seems to do everything you can imagine and more... |

Editing margins and sharpening of movies @ysangkok, using the rip VCD option in k3b. But when I watch the actual VCD using one of the multimedia players, the issues are exactly the same. |
