I apologize for the MacOSX reference, but is there an equivalent of Spotlight-Search in Fedora, specifically FC14 x86_64 ?
My favorite indexer doesn't have this capability, and I'm looking for an alternative that does.
I'm looking for a program that does X and runs on unix (or at least on my particular unix system). Where can I look? Is there a more efficient way than a generic web search?
