Print an SVG from the command line
How can I print an SVG, already scaled to a4 size, from the command line?
I tried using lpr, but instead the printer just printed out the actual XML of the file, which isn't what I wanted.

Unable to change the default printer
When I use the command
$ sudo lpoptions -d Deskjet-F300-series
it won't change the default printer.
$ lpstat -a

How do I get an HP Deskjet F4210 to work?
I brought to home my friend's printer (HP Deskjet F4210). I'm using Xubuntu 10.04.

lpr scanned.pdf
the printer does nothing. lpq writes
