Is there any way to upload folders using the Ubuntu One client on Backtrack, or is the client incompatible with the OS? I have logged in through the client, but I can't get it to work.

Backtrack is based on Ubuntu 11.04, which is EOL,and the Ubuntu One package wasn't updated in a while. I suggest you using Kali-linux instead, based on Debian Wheezy. The official page also says so. They are dropping support for BT. – Braiam Aug 6 '13 at 12:44
