Unix & Linux Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for users of Linux, FreeBSD and other Un*x-like operating systems.. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I currently have the colors in my .Xdefaults set like this:

*background: S_base03
*foreground: S_base00

Because I didn't specify the name of my Terminal emulator, the colors used by QT applications also changed and I'd like to modify the colors just for QT applications.

For urxvt, I'd write the following: URxvt.background: S_base03
Is it possible to do something like that for the QT applications?

I just found out that I can change the look of QT applications independently from urxvt by specifying *background as well as URxvt*background, but I'd still like to know how to explicitly address the QT applications. –  user43982 Jul 28 '13 at 20:39
