I have a laptop and a raspberry pi connected to a soundsystem via the jack output. I'd like to have the output of the soundcard of my laptop redirected to the raspberry through my local network. I read things about mplayer daemon or icecast protocol but I don't really know how to make it work.
You can try using pulseaudio sound server daemon in the raspberry pi and configuring pulseaudio client with the internal network ip of the server in the configuration.
