How do I configure mailutils pop3d to not set the flags on the mail spool to read? I could not find a setting for this in the documentation.

I am using an android (stock) MUA and this does not seem to have an option for this setting.

The user functionality I am seeking is that the mail must remain as unread on the server so that when I use my official application, then I see mails as unread even though I may have read them on the go as it were.

Thanks for any suggestions.
