I'm using the 32 bit version of RHEL6.2. I had to install the drivers for my Nvidia graphics card, after which everything was working fine, until today when wanted to install truecrypt, and it required me to install the GTK dependencies. I installed them (el6.centos RPM's), and when I restarted my PC, the RHEL boot process gets stuck at
When I have a USB internet stick connected to the USB port while booting, it shows the
Starting virt-who: message and remains stuck there, but when I pull out the USB stick, it shows another message
option: option_instat_callback: error -108
and remains stuck there.
What could be the problem? and how can I solve it? At least if I could start a terminal, I could try out a few of the commands that some websites have suggested or at least remove GTK, but I don't know how to get to a terminal either. The terminal will be available only after a complete boot, right?
