I'm unable to transfer files via WINSCP>sftp to a GNU/Linux server. When transferring a file using root account, there's no problem. However, when I transfer using another account, the file being transferred shows 0 bytes and nothing happens when opening it.

The folder I transfer files is /home/avex and the account I'm using to transfer is avex. I've verified that the folder has read and write permission and the owner of avex folder is avex user.

What would be the cause for such output here? and How do I transfer the file under avex user ?
