EDIT: Even taking br0 out, still cannot get a static IP connection.

I had the following /etc/network/interfaces configuration and it was working

auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

auto eth0
iface etho inet manual

allow-hotplug wlan0

auto wlan0
iface wlan0 inet dhcp
wpa-ssid "xxxx"
wpa-pskl "xxxx"

auto br0
iface br0 inet dhcp
bridge_ports wlan0 eth0

I changed the config for wlan0 to the following and now it doesn't work

auto wlan0
iface wlan0 inet static
address 192.168.1.124
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 192.168.1.1
broadcast 192.168.1.255
wpa-ssid "xxxx"
wpa-pskl "xxxx

I am trying to setup a wireless network with static IP that is also bridge to ethernet connection. Im doing this on Raspberry Pi.
