I'm using an old bluez version (3.36) and I need a bluetooth agent. I saw that there is bluez-tools but it requires a higher version of bluez. So, are there any other agents out there? I would preffer something in C/C++.

Also, the whole pairing/sending files will be done from CLI only.

Thank you!

Can you upgrade Bluez? It's just that there were several changes since Bluez 3, especially in the way bluez should work, so it may be a better idea to use the newer packages. Bluez was, in fact, split into several packages starting with bluez-4 at least in some distros, so maybe you should look for some other package, or maybe your bluez package already provides simple-agent? Which distro is this? – njsg Jan 26 at 13:56
