I've Dell PowerEdge 1950 and have installed Finisar FCLF-8521-3 Module. I want to install Finisar SFP module in CentOS 5.8x86_64 Kernel 2.6.18-208

I've Network controller Endace Measurement Systems DAG 4.5G2 Gig Ethernet ( chip NEC D44165184AF5)

The Finisar part listed is just an an adaptor for SPF to cat 5, it needs a card to plug into (Something like a QLogic 3200 or 8100 card). Once you have the actual HBA (PCIe card) then you can plug the SPF module into that. – utopiabound Nov 7 '12 at 19:12
