I wan to know how to compile the kernel image which is under the CDROM:isolinux/ dir named vmlinuz and how to make the other files like initrd.img in the same directory.

There is tones of documentation on the web about compiling custom kernel images, as well as pieces like generating initrd images. What have you tried? Why are you trying to do this? What part specifically are you having trouble with? – Caleb Sep 25 '12 at 12:28
fedora is distro with it's kernel . why don't install . Ppl when compile they make a custom kernel – Xsi Nov 23 '12 at 17:15
