After migrating from sysV to systemd, it has been impossible to launch Opera and Google Chrome (google-chrome-dev); they just hang and close. All other applications seem to work as before. This is on Arch Linux x86_64 with KDE4. I have tried reinstalling the browsers, and even the entire KDE4, to no avail. Does anyone have a solution?

The problem is solved, but I don't know what fixed it. It could be several new package upgrades or that I worked more on the systemd migration, i.e. enabling more *.service files and what not. Both Opera and Google Chrome now start and run as before. Many thanks to all who responded! |
