I am using this test tool : http://pyropus.ca/software/memtester/

And I noticed that first 3 iterations take 4 hours but 30 iterations take only 12 hours. I was hoping that 30 iterations will take 40 hours.

I looked at the code and I am surprised, because you see there is no file system i/o involved in this case and all it does is run bunch of tests on malloc'ed memory.

Any pointers to the cause would be appreciated?
