Your postfix is not running or not listening on port 25. Instead of this semi-h4x0r nmap output, why don't you paste ps -ef | grep postfix and netstat -an | LISTEN | grep 25 ? – Jiri Xichtkniha Jun 11 '12 at 15:55
Can you share dovecot.conf and postfix.conf and check dovecot and postfix services are running? /etc/init.d/dovecot status ; /etc/init.d/postfix status; also telnet 25 and telnet 143 (imap) – Jahanzeb Jun 26 '12 at 5:56
The first line in your mail.log says that there is white space in front of smtpd_banner. You should remove it. What is line 120 of your master.cf? – qbi Jan 22 '13 at 11:11
