Sometimes Firefox doesn't release the mouse after dragging, so I need to kill the application to force it to release its pointer grab.
Is there any command to force an application to ungrab the pointer without killing it?

Firefox has done this to me a few times recently as well, The easiest way out was ALT+F4, then hit Q at the prompt to close the firefox window. I'm sure this isn't an Xorg shortcut, but seems to be fairly common between window managers. -ignore this- I'm an idiot. I didn't notice you wanted to do it without killing the app. |
