I have a Debian 6 running in a VM for two weeks now. Today I noticed Debian is not showing the login box anymore. Instead, it shows an information box that when I click on it changes between "Debian" and "6.0.5". The power button is not working neither.

I'm newbie with Debian and I need patience and step by step instructions ;)
