Linux's man alternatives

Question

Are there any alternatives to linux's man? I know many users used to man and for them it's useful and best way to find what they want, but i'm looking for something which is focused on examples. Is there any offline soft like man or maybe site where most popular commands have manual in convention "examples first" or "most used examples first" and all switches at the end?

Often if i don't remember arguments etc. it's better way to look at any common example and short info about what it does instead of searching proper option on man

Take a look at The Linux Documentation Project, in particular the HOWTOs. This has tutorial and instruction documents for pretty much any major piece of Linux or open source infrastructure code. By definition, they are pretty task oriented ("How To"), and tend to have lots of example snippets of config files, command line incantations to do various common tasks and that sort of thing.
