I'm following this tutorial to ajust the TrackPoint speed for my Lenovo T420. However, setting a value in /sys/devices/platform/i8042/serio1/serio2/speed has no effect.

The trackpoint is unaffected and cating the file after executing the echo -n shows the old value.

Nothing related only someting about the video driver, but that periodic, not related like I said. – Olivier Toupin Jun 18 '11 at 17:31
