I have a really weird problem with my newly installed CrunchBang OS.

When turning on my laptop and trying to connect wirelessly, all the other computers in the network disconnect from the internet. This happens before logging in, even when WiFi is disabled. This happened with another router (same brand, different network). I have set up a static IP but the problem remains.

Also, after disabling WiFi with the hot-keys, the computer cannot turn off or log out. It gets stuck.

Last but not least, this doesn't happen when the laptop restarts or it boots again if the router hasn't been turned off and on.
