I have linux machine red-hat 6.3 VM machine

when I run the command ifconfig -a

I see also the interfaces - virbr0 and virbr0-nic

what I want to get is only the interfaces eth0 and lo

without virbr0 and virbr0-nic

please advice how to delete thise interface ? ( so when I will type ifconfig -a , then I will not see them )

So... the virtualization software is ESXi/vCenter/vSphere? What files are in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ (ll /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-*)? –  Christopher Apr 9 at 21:21
