I recently installed crunchbang on my Lenovo G505 Laptop, it uses broadcom drivers and I can't get any type of connection. I have tried connecting it with an ethernet cable every way that I could and it doesn't even detect anything, it does not detect any wireless connections either. Can I download the drivers I need, put them on a flash drive, put them on the laptop and install them that way? If I can then how exactly can I do this? I don't have a ton of experience with this, crunchbang replaced ubuntu which was my previous OS, I also ran into trouble connecting with that but got lucky and was able to connect through my router with an ethernet cable which isn't working this time. These are the drivers for the laptop - support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?&DocID=DS035826 , I found broadcom drivers for linux but have no idea what to do with them - ://www.broadcom.com/support/802.11/linux_sta.php
